Game On in the Community
WoodForSheep has been bringing our game library and crew to facilitate family game nights in the local community; schools, libraries, community centres and churches. The positive feedback from these events has encouraged us to expand the program even more!
What's the Difference with Modern Games?
Unlike classic board games such as “Monopoly” and “Game of Life”, modern games are less random, and promote strategy and critical thinking. These games adopt sophisticated themes and innovative game mechanics to offer deep experiences, making them appealing to adults and kids alike. In fact, many games are named by Mensa to be “Mensa Select” games for being entertaining and challenging!
Benefits of Playing
Playing games is a way to connect and create common experiences that we can relate to. The variety of games develops skills of strategy, negotiation, teamwork, arithmetic, dexterity, to name a few.
Lots of energy, an open mind, and a readiness to be wowed!
